Benefits
Nitrophoska® is a registered trademark of EuroChem Agro GmbH
• Used extensively for specialty crops and all crops under glass and home garden
• Contains only potassium sulphate so it can be used on chloride sensitive crops
• Has a near neutral effect on the soil pH, which is important when banding the product
• Contains both forms of nitrogen; nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen
• Contains a full range of trace elements as well as magnesium and calcium
Nitrophoska Extra is a compound fertiliser meaning it has the same chemical composition of high-grade plant available nutrients in every granule. This ensures there is no nutrient segregation which produces a more even crop with better yields. All the potassium is in the form of potassium sulphate, enabling it to be used on chloride sensitive plants.
Nitrophoska Extra contains both forms of nitrogen; nitrate nitrogen (5.5%) and ammonium nitrogen (6.5%).
As well as NPKS, Nitrophoska Extra contains a full range of trace elements (Iron 500ppm, Boron 200ppm, Zinc 100ppm, Manganese 70 ppm & Copper 10 ppm) plus calcium and magnesium to provide a complete feed in every granule.
Nitrophoska Extra has a near neutral effect on the soil pH which is particularly important when banding fertilisers. -
Application and storage
Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity, soil type and crop type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate. Call our Customer Centre for information.
As with most solid fertilisers, Nitrophoska Extra can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Store bags in a dry place ensuring they are tightly sealed.
