N-Protect is Ravensdown’s coated urea product that slows down the conversion of nitrogen in urea to ammonia gas (ammonia volatilisation) which is lost to the atmosphere.
N-Protect contains 300ppm active ingredient (NBPT) as registered with Fertmark.

Our coated urea product, N-Protect provides the opportunity for urea to be applied in conditions where losses of N through volatilisation can be reduced economically.
- Studies show using the urease inhibitor coating can reduce average N-loss via the process of volatilisation by 50%

Safety Information
Caution When Mixing
Although N-Protect may be mixed with other products for prompt application, it is not compatible with the following:
Superphosphate, Sulphur Super 30, Magnesium Oxide, Copper Sulphate and Cobalt Sulphate.Flexi-N (magnesium coated Urea) can be used as a substitute when mixing with Superphosphate based products.
