Safety Information

Benefits
High-quality magnesium sulphate
Suitable for addition to the drinking water or supplementary feed, or for daily oral drenching -
Application
Magnesium sulphate is very soluble in water, so is generally only administered by an oral drench or through the drinking water (via an in-line dispenser, added to the central water supply or added directly to the water trough).
Dose rates are generally 60-80g/cow/day for drenching and 60-100g/cow/day for water medication. It can be added to supplementary feeds, although its unfavourable taste makes magnesium oxide a better choice for feed medication. Magnesium sulphate is soluble in water so is compatible with drench guns, trough dispensers and in-line dispensers. -
Compatibility
Dose rates over 100-120g/cow/day can cause scouring (diarrhoea).
-
Packaging
• Lined polypropylene bag.
• UV-stabilised bags.
• Sling pack of 40 x 25kg bags or pallet of 40 x 25kg bags (1 MT).
• Sling packs are UV-stabilised. -
