A high-strength glyphosate herbicide for use in a wide range of situations. Perfect for pre-cultivation to eliminate competition when establishing a crop or new pasture, Glyphosate 540 offers excellent persistence and effectiveness. Ideal for farms seeking effective weed control with faster turnaround times.
Contains 540g/litre as the isopropylamine salt in the form of a soluble concentrate.

Why use
- A high strength 540g/L Glyphosate powered by Surfmax-G®.
- Rainfast in 20 minutes when used with Accelerate penetrant.
- Ideal for sprayouts prior to sowing new crops & pasture.
- Shorter rain free period required = 20 minutes when used with Accelerate, otherwise 2 hours.
- Quicker turnaround times = 1 day for annual weeds and 3 days for perennial weeds.
- Less chemical required to treat the same area.
- Easier to measure and mix.
- Less drums to recycle.
- Less volume to transport and store.
- Very cost effective non selective herbicide.
- For pasture renewal, it helps eliminate the resident weed populations resulting in a cleaner seedbed, better plant establishment as well as saving valuable tractor hours and diesel.
- Allows faster turnaround times for direct drilling and cultivation whilst saving valuable time.
- Very useful as a moisture conservation tool.

Ravensdown Glyphosate has so many uses in such a wide variety of situation that it is always best to refer to the Glyphosate 540 Label for specific application details. Glyphosate 540 is compatible with most commonly used herbicides and insecticides.Packaging

- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in accordance with NZS 8409 Management of Agrichemicals.
- Store in original container tightly closed in a locked, dry cool area away from foodstuffs, fertilizers and seeds.
- Stores containing 1000L of Glyphosate 540 require signage and secondary containment.
- Stores containing more that 1000L of Glyphosate 540 require emergency response plans.
- Please refer to the product label for product handling and storage details.
Shelf Life
When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Please contact your Ravensdown Account Manager, or the Customer Centre on 0800 100 123, for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.Mixing
Reduced results may occur if dirty water (e.g. from ponds), hard water containing calcium salts or water containing metal ions (e.g. iron) is used. Ensure tank is free of any residue of previous spray materials. Half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of Glyphosate 540, agitate and continue to fill the tank. Glyphosate 540 is compatible with most commonly used herbicides and insecticides.Add Accelerate penetrant where required. If mixing with other herbicides, ensure these are fully dispersed before adding Glyphosate 540. Be sure to observe all precautions, especially plant back periods when using other herbicides. Use tank mixes promptly.
Additional Information
Plants should have sufficient leaf area for uptake, be actively growing, free of stress and with clean foliage at the time of spraying. The addition of Accelerate penetrant is particularly important on plants that have a waxy cuticle, such as ryegrass and brushweeds like gorse, broom, bracken and sweet briar. Reduced results may occur if dirty water, hard water containing calcium salts or water containing metal ions is used. If hard water cannot be avoided, the addition of a recommended surfactant is advised.
